The nature of the beard and mustache do not resemble the nature of head hair and vary from one person to another in terms of density. Most people who have a light beard do not care about density or the transplantation So in the technique of beard transplantation a small number of follicles are transplanted. When there are large empty areas in person’s beard we try to pick out follicles from higher density areas and distribute them evenly in the empty areas. In case of total emptiness in the beard 1000-2000 follicles are implanted as requested by the person. While In the case of mustache transplantation, we only plant 400-800 grafts. The beard grows with individual or bilateral grafts in different parts of the face and in different styles.

Because of the use of FGS in beard and mustache transplantation that depends on individual and bilateral roots, it is very difficult to distinguish the transplanted beard and a natural beard. When using the FGS technique, it is not necessary to pick the grafts measuring 0.7 mm after the extracting the grafts from the head without surgery they will be implanted directly to the skin with a channel size of 0.7 mm by applying this technique, we use this technique to grow the follicles directly, we ensure that none of the extracted grafts from the donor area will be damaged.

Through the FGS technique, the follicles extracted from the donor area are transplanted to the beard and mustache. This technique should be carried out by highly qualified and experienced staff. In the face areas attention must be paid to the accuracy of the channels. the wash should be done two days after the operation. The transplanted hair in the beard will appear immediately after the wash and two or three days later the beard begins to form. After six or seven days, the redness begins to disappear and there will be no effect on the donor areas such as chest and rear of the head.
